WOODLAND OASIS SWIM POND

This most amazing swim pond was built on a country property nestled in the woods of Stirling, Ontario. The intent was for it to look as natural as possible, as though it had always been a part of the existing landscape, while providing function, aesthetic appeal and ecological services. Its dimensions are approximately 20 by 30 feet with a depth of 5 feet, and it features an under-liner drainage system, as well as an intake bay and wetland filtration system. It was constructed with fieldstone reminiscent of the Canadian Shield  Antique hand-chiseled limestone from the clients’ collection were re-purposed to create stairs for entry into the pond, and underwater and garden lighting was installed to provide the opportunity of night-time enjoyment.
